Big changes at Miro Manufacturing! We have invested in new equipment and added onto our facility to better serve our customers.
Starting in early 2023, Miro began work on our new 15,000-square-foot stamping addition which wrapped prior to the end of the year. Along with the addition came the installation of our new 660T Komatsu press and feed line. This new press was selected for both speed and efficiency. With output of up to 40 strokes per minute, large bed size and the ability to hang up to 20,000 pounds of coil it allows longer run times between material changes and an impressive part-per-hour output.
In February of 2024, Miro took delivery of our new Motorum M2044TS turret press. This machine will allow us to have even greater flexibility regarding cost-effective manufacture of low- to mid-volume sheet metal items.
Also in February, Miro was very excited to begin our foray into automated welding with the installation of our first cobot. This machine has already proven itself to be a fantastic addition to our welding department, greatly increasing throughput and allowing our skilled welders to focus on larger, more complicated work pieces.
